Natalie is excited to be on staff at First Presbyterian Church as the Ventures program director! She grew up just on the other side of Atlanta in Gwinnett county and attended Shiloh High School in Snellville, GA. In 2008, Natalie graduated from the University of Georgia where she studied Child and Family Development and had a great time cheering on the Dawgs!
Natalie began her real relationship with Christ in high school, and it was in her freshman year of college when she felt God calling her to ministry. During a lecture on adolescence, God broke her heart for youth, and she knew then and there that she was called to youth ministry. For the next several years in Athens, Natalie was involved in many youth groups and there deepened her love and passion for working with youth.
Upon graduating from UGA in 2008, Natalie stayed in Athens for one more year and served as a Ministry Intern at the Wesley Foundation (the Methodist campus ministry) at UGA where she had served as a student leader during college. It was during that internship that Natalie met another Natalie, Natalie Webb. Natalie Webb grew up at FPC in Marietta and introduced Natalie Etter to the church in April of 2009. Natalie started as the Ventures director in May, kicking off her new position with both trips to Mexico and Road Rules.
Natalie is looking forward to getting married in November 2009. She met her fiancé, Jonnie Geiger in middle school and reconnected with him after college. Ask her about the story, she loves to tell it!
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as a good cup of coffee and anything chocolate. |
