Ashley grew up in the small town of Viola, AR, alongside her sisters—Angel, the oldest, and LeAllison, the baby. The Lord placed them in the hands of amazing parents, David Lynn and Robin Jones, whose lives have been used to daily and graciously press both her sisters and Ashley closer to Him.
Ashley was baptized at the age of nine, and her family has been faithfully attending church since before she can remember. Ashley states, "Unfortunately, I resented a lot about church as a kid, so as I got older I only went out of obligation. It wasn’t until my sophomore year of college that I began to realize how much I had taken Jesus for granted. He was no longer an obligation; he became all the joy and love in my life."
Ashley surrendered to the ministry that year, and met her husband Josh the year after while on mission to China. "He is the image of grace in my life and the greatest husband on this planet." remarks Ashley.
Ashley graduated college in 2006, with a degree in Speech Communication and Religious Studies. This past year, she has been working with college students as a student missionary on campus at the University of Central Arkansas.
Ashley shares, "My only goal is to one day be able to give crowns to Jesus—I really do live to see Him smile." Ashley also loves to be in the woodsenjoying hiking, camping, smelling grass, etc. She likes books, movies and crosswords, and would rather be a ninja than a pirate.
