Director, Mary Groves

Mary Groves, our Nursery Director, has held this important position for ten years. Her passion for the safety and security of your child, combined with her gentle, affectionate nature make Mary a valuable part of our child-related programs. She counts many, many children who have “graduated” from her Nursery and equally as many parents who have benefited from her gracious leadership.

Additionally, Mary is also the Director of FPC’s Club 3:30 program, a program that provides after-school care for elementary grade children in the Marietta school system who would otherwise be latch-key kids.

Nursery Guild & Volunteers

Volunteers are always welcome! We welcome volunteers to work in the nursery during hours of operation and to serve on the Nursery Guild.

The Nursery Guild serves as an advisory committee to the Nursery Director and is made up of committees that support the work of the Nursery. They meet monthly as needed to share ideas, concerns and fellowship. Sub-Committees of the Nursery Guild include Administrative, Recruitment, Service (to members of the congregation and our children through special activities, events and service projects) and Social.
