Larisa Dukes grew up participating in church music programs – singing in her first choir as a four-year old. Along the way, she also studied piano for 13 years, picked up the violin and dulcimer for a time, and joined her first handbell choir in 1987. Today she is ringing with the Kirk Ringers and singing in the Chancel Choir.
When not involved in church musical activities, she has earned her living teaching English, Reading, and writing to elementary school students and college freshmen and, later, writing technical documentation for software companies and banks. Currently, she is employed as a technical writer by Affiliated Computer Services. Larisa is married to Troy Dukes and they have a daughter, Jessa. |
