“Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all!” Romans 11:11

Divorce is recognized as one of the most devastating experiences in an individual’s life. The process of recovery presents many challenges – on emotional, psychological, family and financial levels. There are ways to deal constructively and positively with these challenges so that recovery is possible. As many people have demonstrated in their own lives, there is Life After Divorce!

At FPC, our Life After Divorce workshops cover:

  • The Grief Process (Feelings and concerns, bitter or better)
  • Kinds of Marriages – Letting Go (You do not make more mistakes than anyone else)
  • Who am I, Who do I want to be? (Assume responsibility and celebrate yourself)
  • Families and Children (Be all you were created to be)
  • Financial Finesse (Planning and diversity are the keys to financial success)
  • Relationships (There’s a new you coming if you want it)
  • Singles and Sexuality (I will choose to enjoy the adventure of living as a child of God)

Please consider reaching out to someone who is here for you. We long to join with you as you consider all that God has in store for your life!

Our Leader/Facilitator is Jean Simmons – active member of Marietta FUMC, Juvenile Court/Citizens Panel review, Volunteer Brumby Elementary School, Board of Directors for SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center, Inc., Board of directors for the Community Foundation for Cobb County.
