“Is there any one of you in trouble? He should pray.  Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.  Is there any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord..  And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.  If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.  Therefore confess your sins to each other so that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:13-16

Every Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Prayer Group meets to pray.

This committed group of prayer partners has been praying over the concerns of our members, friends, neighbors, leaders, government, teachers, missionaries, and others every week for the past 15 years.  They pray for our staff, church officers, and all concerns of the church.  They continue to meet faithfully with the sole purpose of bringing your petitions before the Lord in prayer.

The Prayer Group seeks to know your prayer concerns and welcomes you to submit your praises or petitions to them in writing via the Prayer Request form available by clicking here or by picking up a Prayer Request card in the gathering space.  Be sure to indicate whether your prayer needs are confidential or can be shared with the congregation through the Prayer Group weekly publication.

The Prayer Group is open to everyone.  No reservations or registration is required. Childcare is provided at no charge by the FPC Mother’s Morning Out
