Venture across the border with experienced leadership to Mexico where members of FPC Marietta have virtually built a neighborhood of homes for families in need. Travel is on church obtained vehicles on this side of the border, and a combination of US and Mexican vehicles while across the border. To cut down on our costs, we may have church floor stays en route. Participants stay in a safe and well maintained hotel while in Mexico. The initial goal is to complete seven new homes on the foundations already layed by the men's team earlier in the spring. The project is supported by the Mission Council of First Presbyterian Church, the Youth & College Council, the SHF Mexico BBQs, and the Youth Mexico Mission Block fundraising event which solicits contributions from the church and community.
